Today we had our yearly pest check and found that we have termites in the basement. The pest guy found termite wings and I did not know any thing about termites wings and got to looking and I am infected. With termites that is. Today was the last day to get the tags renewed and the line was 7 blocks long, Had to get emissions too that was not as long, I guess everyone had to wait till the last minute to get their tags renewed. I do not like people to start with and people who make me wait in line is even worse. Waiting in line is the bane of my meager existence. The wait is a fine virtue to have.
My teen age son has decided to undertake a new project, he is building a computer from the ground up. I am not sure I would want to fight this battle but he thinks it will be fun, and at his age that is half the battle. This Sunday was filled with racing, much of it I did watch but it was more than I could stand. I am not a major race fan I catch a few races when there is nothing else on TV. I try to watch a few races each year Daytona, Indy and the Talladega races these are exciting even to the casual fan. I know a few of the local drivers from my days at the radio station, I produced a racing show every week for a couple of years.
