The Tennessee Titans play this week on Monday Night Football and we have tickets to the game. I love to watch us play the Colts anytime and especially on Monday Night Football when the team has the main stage and the world can watch us kick the Colts back to Indy where they belong. The traffic will be horrific and I am thinking of taking the train to the game and back, they run the train for special occasions and not many are as special as Monday Night Football, I wish they ran the trains to the Predator games that would save me a mint on parking fees. Go Titans!

Less than a week after my youngest daughter wrecked her car my oldest hit a brick mailbox at about 50 MPH and did a number on her vehicle. The dam air bags did as much damage to her as the mailbox did, I hate those air bags. I spent most of the night at the emergency room with her, and then gave her a ride tonight to get a prescription filled for the pain. I am glad that she is going to be ok, but she totaled her truck and will be with our a ride for a while, I do not know if she will be able to keep her job without a car or not. I do not have a car she can use I am putting my truck in the shop tommorrow and will have to use the wifes Mazda to get my self to work the next few nights.

Homemade cookies are a special treat around our house we do not make them very often and last night I helped make a batch to take to work as a treat for our drivers. I am not a great cook by any stretch of the imagination but the cookies turned out dam fine if I do say so myself. It was a team effort my wife lets me help once in a while just to humor me but I am sure she would want me not allowed in the kitchen at all if she had her way about it. The cookies were a hit and I was pleased about that, I was afraid to tell the guys that I made them I gave all the glory to my wife and they believed that she made them so if any of them get sick I can blame her about that too.

For the last week there have been long lines to purchase gasoline and for now it seems to have gone back to normal. No long lines and everyone has at least regular gasoline, some of the gas stations have no premium but most of the cars and trucks on the road now run ok on the regular grade. I am just happy not to have to wait 2 hours to fill up my tank. A couple of times we had to search for a station that had any gasoline at all and that when your limited for time was a pain in the butt. I am glad that we are back to normal now.
