HP 1020

Monday, May 5th, 2008

I have used a Hewlett-Packard 1020 printer since they came on the market several years ago. Much to my dismay I found out today that they have discontinued making this fine printer. I am not sure what I will do when mine wears out, I like the way it works it is pretty efficient on ink, the ink cartridges are a bit expensive but by getting them refilled it is not so bad. It never fails I start to like a product and it is discontinued.

Health Insurance

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

As the owner of a small company it has fallen to me to find health insurance for the family and employees, after a bit of searching I have found what looks like the best small company insurance out there. Bupa is the site that I have discovered, that I feel has the very best coverage and best plan for me.

Getting Health Insurance Quotes is very time consuming and when you find a good company you tend to stick with them. Bupa has a great web site with loads of information about insurance. This coverage includes acute heart conditions and cancer coverage. These are two of the problems that you sure want covered by your health insurance.

Trade show

Every year the company I work for has a trade show display at the NACS convention that is held here in Nashville. We set up a booth at this trade show and display our newest products.

The trade show displays that we use are from The Godfry Group they customize our displays to our needs and they are perfect in every way. This fine company also has off the rack displays or they can customize the display to your needs.

They have every need you can think of from trade show displays, exhibit booths, portable displays, and accessories for trade shows, corporate information centers, showrooms, retail environments, and promotional events.

Weekly duties I hate

Friday, April 25th, 2008

What is that weekly chore you hate to do? If you ask 100 people what their top hate to do chore was, and I bet the number one answer is “taking out the trash”. And I bet that another answer in the top 5 would be “backing up my computer files.”

Well, if you find the right backup service and set it up right, backing up your computer files can be easy and fast, and not nearly as bad as doing trash duties.

Online Storage and backup is one of the safest and easiest ways to protect all that data on your computer. You just spend a few minutes setting it up, and even that is easy to do.

Find an online service like IBackup. With IBackup, you make a folder on your desktop and then you drag and drop the files or folders that you want to back up. If you can drag and drop using Windows Explorer, then you can do a backup on IBackup. Or you can set it up to automatically do the backup and send you an email to confirm that it was done.

How easy is that? Very. Add the fact that you can do backup on Iphones and on your Mac computer makes this that much easier to add to your daily duties. Find the site for your mac computer here at http://www.ibackup.com/ibackup-for-mac.

If you don’t have a backup process in place and in use, add IBackup to your computer and do away with the problems associated with not having your system backed up.
