The city of Nashville a couple of years ago put a small commuter train into business, it has never taken off it runs one line between Lebanon and downtown and back 4 times a day. With service stopping at around 6 pm. This schedule does not work for a lot of people including me and my family. We would take the train downtown for special events like ball games and concerts but it does not run late enough to get us back home when the event is over. If they decide to make this thing work they need to increase the track and cover more of the town and increase the times the train runs, but I do not see this thrifty city spending any money to help upgrade services for their citizens.

Kanye West took his sweet time making an announcement about his big – I mean really big – bad judgement and poor form at the Bonaroo Festival. He came out today with a rant against his fans.

His ego is really out of place at a Woodstock type of gathering like Bonaroo, and I doubt he’ll be allowed back there any time soon. His prima donna attitude about his stage set and show turned out to be his own downfall. He wanted the show to be seen in the dark of night so all his expensive special effects wouldn’t be wasted on a twilight crowd. So they moved his show back to follow the evening’s true headliner act. The problem was that the headliner act was so well received that they played a longer set than scheduled. Then there was a huge delay in breaking down their set and putting up Kanye’s. Then, for inexplicable reasons other than perhaps ego, Kanyes keep the crowd waiting an extra hour longer before he graced the stage. At this point,  more than 7 hours later than the announced show time, his fans were sick of waiting. And Kanye  had plenty of opportunity to  explain or apologize, but he did neither. And the crowd rightfully boo’d.

Next Saturday Adam Pacman Jones has his house here in Nashville going up for auction to pay the bank back for the loans he got to buy the house, you know as much money as he made there is no way he needed to get a loan to buy a house. Is it any wonder that our financial system is on the verge of collapse with people taking advantage of it like they do. People who need loans just to survive can not get them but rich people treat the money system like it was made for them. Rich people who do not need the money should be put in jail if they will not pay it back

Yesterday the Nashville Predators traded my favorite player, I do not buy the jersey of the high paid players I root for the players that grind it out and play with their hearts not their skills. Darcy Hordichuck played like a warrior he gave back to the community and was a fan favorite, you would think the team could find a place for him on the roster. To trade him for a conditional pick has made me very angry. Thank you Darcy for every thing you gave this community in the three years you spent here.

Today was the last day to get the tags renewed and the line was 7 blocks long, Had to get emissions too that was not as long, I guess everyone had to wait till the last minute to get their tags renewed. I do not like people to start with and people who make me wait in line is even worse. Waiting in line is the bane of my meager existence. The wait is a fine virtue to have.
