We started pulling up the carpet in our dining room to get some new flooring put down this weekend and as with any job we start it is a much bigger job than we thought when we started. The flooring boards under the carpet all have to be pulled up and replaced, this job is going to be a monster for we plan to replace all of the carpet in the house and put down flooring. I know we will be busy all weekend with this honey do project.

With a lot of my wifes family in Southern Virgina we try to take a weeks vacation there every year. This year we will be staying at a very nice waterfront community.

Today we had our yearly pest check and found that we have termites in the basement. The pest guy found termite wings and I did not know any thing about termites wings and got to looking and I am infected. With termites that is. My oldest sister Paula just got transferred to Boston and she had to find a new home for her and the kids quickly. She found a great realtor to assist her in her search. My mother has decided to enjoy her retirement and buy a summer villa in Florida, I am very glad she has made this decision and I support her to the fullest. Her search for Florida villa sales has taken most of the spring to complete.
