This Sunday was filled with racing, much of it I did watch but it was more than I could stand. I am not a major race fan I catch a few races when there is nothing else on TV. I try to watch a few races each year Daytona, Indy and the Talladega races these are exciting even to the casual fan. I know  a few of the local drivers from my days at the radio station, I produced a racing show every week for a couple of years.

In reading the headlines this morning I noticed the one that said the NFL cheerleader got fired and she is going to marry her pro football player boyfriend, first thing that comes to my mind is I guess she got what she wanted now she will never have to work again. Her husband to be has millions from his football career. So I guess she came out on top so to speak. There is a reason the NFL teams do not allow players to date the cheerleaders, and it makes me angry when some one can not follow the rules.

Every year our men’s softball team has a fund raiser to help make money to pay our expenses that we incur in going to softball tournaments. What we have decided to do this year is to sell custom car magnets to raise money.

Several of us from work have taken up paint ball as a way to relieve stress. I love playing paintball I do not think of anything work related while I am stalking my prey.

My baseball team is off to a very good start this year, the St Louis Cardinals are in first place and it is a surprise to me and everyone else. Last year was a flop and I think everyone expected the team to follow the same path, but they are doing well and I can not wait to go see them in Chicago this summer. I really want to get to the new Busch Stadium also, we have not been to a home game in a few years and it is time to go again.
