The Tennessee Titans play this week on Monday Night Football and we have tickets to the game. I love to watch us play the Colts anytime and especially on Monday Night Football when the team has the main stage and the world can watch us kick the Colts back to Indy where they belong. The traffic will be horrific and I am thinking of taking the train to the game and back, they run the train for special occasions and not many are as special as Monday Night Football, I wish they ran the trains to the Predator games that would save me a mint on parking fees. Go Titans!

On our trip to Oklahoma we noticed one huge bank of wind turbines turning in the Oklahoma wind. I have come to believe that wind power is the energy of the future, T Boone Pickins has the right idea about power and I hope the Presidential candidates get behind some of his ideas no matter who wins this power could help bail this country out of its power shortage and not harm the environment in the process. I am thinking of getting a small wind turbine to help power our home here in Tennessee.

Every year we take a trip to the best city in the world, Chicago. We always take in a baseball game at Wrigley Field, and always take a limo tour of the city to see the lights, sounds and smells of this great city. Last year we took a stretch limo around the city, and it was the best ride I have ever taken, this year we are going to take a town car on our travels around Chicago. This year we are going to make stops at the Navy Pier and the Lincoln Park Zoo, these are two site I have always wanted to see while in Chicago. The Art Institute is also high on my wifes list, I am not sure we will make it there this year but it will be high on our list for next year.

Just got off the phone with my sister, my 93 year old grandmother has passed away. This is a very sad day for my, she was more a mother than a grandmother, her and my grandfather raised the three of us after my mother died in 1973. It was not a rich household in money but overflowed with love and care. My grandfather died in 1984 it seems such a long time ago and that was the saddest day of my life until today. We will be leaving for Oklahoma tomorrow, it will be a long sad drive.

This year for our twentieth anniversary we are taking a second honeymoon trip to New Zealand. We can not wait for this New Zealand tour to start, it has been a dream of ours since we met to go to New Zealand.
