With a lot of my wifes family in Southern Virgina we try to take a weeks vacation there every year. This year we will be staying at a very nice waterfront community.

My mother has decided to enjoy her retirement and buy a summer villa in Florida, I am very glad she has made this decision and I support her to the fullest. Her search for Florida villa sales has taken most of the spring to complete.

Most of the homes they have for sale are airpark homes or near airports, which is what my mom wants, she has always wanted to live near an airpark so they did not have to travel so far to get to their airplane. The ease of flying in and out of your backyard is amazing.

As a small child we attended the National Finals Rodeo every year, when it was in Oklahoma City, we had a box that we used for all ten nights of the rodeo. The box that we had was straight across from the bucking chutes. The action during the riding events was fantastic. Watching those huge bulls dancing around trying to throw off the riders is quite the show.

I really enjoy the riding events especially the bulls, the other events are really enjoyable too, but I really like the riding events the best, since that is what I did most when I was growing up. I rode a few bulls in rodeos and tried a bit of calf roping I was not skilled enough to ever win but it was a lot of fun.

I have not attended this fine rodeo since it moved to Las Vegas from Oklahoma City. We decided to get tickets this year and make a family vacation out of the trip. I bought my National Finals Rodeo tickets today and I am ready to go now! The trip will be a lot of fun and I am sure the wife and kids will like the rodeo also.

My baseball team is off to a very good start this year, the St Louis Cardinals are in first place and it is a surprise to me and everyone else. Last year was a flop and I think everyone expected the team to follow the same path, but they are doing well and I can not wait to go see them in Chicago this summer. I really want to get to the new Busch Stadium also, we have not been to a home game in a few years and it is time to go again.

We have made a decision on where we will be going for our vacation this year and we decided to travel to Blueberry Lake Resort near Mount Tremblant in Quebec. Twenty-five miles north of Mont Tremblant resort this beautiful lake is exactly what this family needs for this hectic life we live. A country setting that has world class service and amenities, this wonderful vacation spot should be at the top of anyone’s list who desires to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for their vacation. It looks like a place that we could spend some fun winter time too, we are going to look to add this location to our winter trip list also.
